Emma Kelly - Sponsorship and Grants Director
Emma grew up on a hobby farm filled with animals near Horsham in Victoria’s west. After high school, Emma moved to Melbourne to study a Bachelor of Journalism. She then moved to Canberra to take up work with Fairfax Media. Since then she has worked as a reporter, edited Allhomes and as a producer at The Canberra Times. Today, she works in politics, as an adviser for a Member of the ACT Legislative Assembly!
Emma has also volunteered with Rotaract, a Rotary-sponsored community service organisation for young adults. She has served as Brindabella Rotaract’s president, vice president and secretary.
Emma is passionate about education and empowering young women. She joined Country to Canberra as a way to help provide more opportunities to young people in regional Australia.
