Before winning the 2016 Power Trip, Mandy grew up in Forster, a regional town on the Mid North Coast of New South Wales. It was there that Mandy discovered her passion for gender equality and empowerment while also becoming aware of the restrictions of living away from the city.

Since then, Mandy has moved to Canberra and is now studying a Bachelor of Pharmacy. In between her studies and volunteering for Country to Canberra as our Newsletter Coordinator Mandy enjoys exploring the city and meeting new people.
