Hi! My name is Nooria Muradi. I am an Australian of Afghan descent, and a proud Territorian.

I grew up in Alice Springs, but I am currently residing in Adelaide for university. Growing up in Alice, I lived a very different life to that of urban settlers.

In 2015, I was part of The Northern Territory’s Youth Round Table which helped me better understand the issues that were affecting young people. My experiences led to my passion for rural issues, youth issues, and issues relating to women.

I have a keen interest in finding solutions to the many problems we face which is why I wanted to join the council. My goal is to bring my experiences to this council to contribute positively to this incredible initiative.
