Emily Blackburn - Board Trainee
Emily is a farmer, teacher and mother based in regional NSW. Emily along with her husband and two children runs a commercial mixed farming enterprise. Emily’s main focus in the enterprise is assessing ewe lambs and facilitating a successful ewe lamb joining. Outside of her farm endeavour Emily has held executive roles leading Special and Inclusive Education in local regional schools and leads the development of differentiated curriculum resources for rural, regional and remote schools. Emily has a passion for connecting Education and the Australian Agriculture Industry. Emily holds a Bachelor of Secondary Teaching, Bachelor of Social Science Psychology and Diploma of Agriculture. Emily is proud to be selected as one of the C2C Board Trainees and through this opportunity strives to provide opportunities for marginalised youth, people with disabilities, girls and non-binary people living in Regional NSW, specifically within connection to the Australian Agriculture Industry.
