We acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of this land, the Ngunnawal and Ngambri People, and recognise their continuing connection to country, particularly through the land and waters on which we volunteer, learn, and connect. We also acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of all lands Country to Canberra volunteers live and work on, and the lands we are privileged to visit all across Australia.

We pay our respects to Elders past and present, and recognise First Nations people as the oldest living culture. We celebrate their stories, traditions and connection to community, and they inspire us to create a more inclusive and equal future for all.
