Ellecha was the first ever WA winner of the Leadership Competition in 2015 and is so proud to still be involved with Country to Canberra as a volunteer. She grew up in Busselton, in the south-west of WA and moved to Perth in order to undertake tertiary education. She is currently studying a Bachelor of Social Work and is incredibly passionate about helping other people and strengthening communities. 

Ellecha has a strong appreciation for regional, rural and remote Australia and is incredibly thankful for her childhood and growing up in such a beautiful town. Ellecha believes the work undertaken by Country to Canberra is so important and needed and is incredibly excited to continue supporting the organisation as part of the volunteer team.
