Priya joined the Country to Canberra team because she is passionate about equipping young women with the leadership skills they need to feel empowered. 

 

Raised in Omaha, Nebraska in the USA, Priya moved to Southern California to pursue a double degree in Gender & Women’s Studies and Media Studies. She has now lived in Melbourne for nearly seven years, where she completed a Masters in Advertising at RMIT, and now works at a large advertising agency. She is really interested in brand development, strategy and marketing, and loves bringing her experience in these areas to Country to Canberra. 

 

When Priya isn’t working or volunteering with C2C, she can be found cooking up a storm, hanging out with friends or spending time with her two little nephews, who she adores!
