CATHERINE BARBOUR - LEADERSHIP COMPETITION OFFICER

Catherine grew up in rural town of Portland NSW. From here, her passion for providing opportunities to rural and regional areas has grown. Catherine was introduced to Country to Canberra by one of her friends, and has since been following the work that C2C have done until volunteering herself.
Currently, Catherine works for Motorcycling NSW as the Sports & Events Officer, liaising with over 50 southern & metro clubs within NSW. This role entails the administration of clubs with events, track licencing, volunteers and almost anything to do with motorcycling.

Previously to this, Catherine attended University of Canberra to complete Bachelor of Events & Tourism Management / Bachelor of Sports Management.
Catherine also has strong passion for showcasing and providing opportunities for women within the motorsport sector. Catherine is looking forward to engaging with young women in similar case scenarios to help support them into inspiring young leaders.
