DORIS TONG - BOARD DIRECTOR

Doris is a seasoned global engagement advisor and marketing leader with more than 15 years of experience working in Australia and Hong Kong, spanning across both the private and public sector.

Doris currently holds the position of Senior Executive Advisor at CSIRO. She is responsible for strategy formulation and implementation and operational excellence of the Strategic Partnerships Group. She was formerly the head of strategic partnerships for Europe, UK and Health at CSIRO.

Doris also had a long career in marketing where she was the Marketing Manager at PwC Australia and the National Marketing and Communications Advisor of PwC’s Asia Practice and the Marketing Executive at Fuji Xerox Australia. She also spent several years working as a sessional academic at the University of Canberra, specialising in marketing and creativity.

Doris has strong interests in equality, cultural diversity, and youth empowerment. Over the years, she had been a member of the Jasiri Australia Advisory Committee, an Advisory Board Member of Enactus UC, a mentor with ABCN and a volunteer with the Red Cross Migration Program.

Doris is a proud mum of two young girls. She was born and raised in Hong Kong and is fluent(speaking, reading, and writing) in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin. She holds a bachelor’s degree in advertising and marketing and a master’s degree in marketing management from the University of Canberra where she received two consecutive Dean’s Excellence Awards.
