DORIS TONG - BOARD DIRECTOR
Doris Tong is a seasoned strategic engagement advisor, business improvements and marketing leader with over 17 years of experience across Australia and Hong Kong, spanning both private and public sectors.
She currently serves as Director, Strategy and Transformation at the National Library of Australia, where she leads strategic initiatives and transformation programs.
Doris was the Head of Strategic Initiatives at the University of Canberra and has held senior roles at CSIRO, including Senior Executive Advisor for Strategic Partnerships, and Head of Europe and Health & Biosecurity Engagement. Her career began in marketing, with positions such as Marketing Manager at PwC Australia, National Marketing and Communications Advisor for PwC’s Asia Practice, and Marketing Executive at Fuji Xerox Australia. She also contributed to academia as a sessional lecturer at the University of Canberra, specializing in marketing and creativity.
Passionate about equality, cultural diversity, and youth empowerment, Doris has served on the Jasiri Australia Advisory Committee, as an Advisory Board Member for Enactus UC, a mentor with ABCN, and a volunteer with the Red Cross Migration Program.
Born and raised in Hong Kong, Doris is fluent in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Advertising and Marketing and a Master’s degree in Marketing Management from the University of Canberra, where she earned two consecutive Dean’s Excellence Awards. Doris is a proud mum of two young girls.
