ANDREA HOGG - BOARD CHAIR

I live and work on Ngunnawal and Ngambri Country and am always appreciative of the natural beauty of the hills, mountains and waterways in my region.

Joining the board of Country to Canberra and now undertaking the role of Chair has been a great honour for me – to contribute to the achievements and mission of an organisation I have admired for a very long time. I continue to be committed to the pursuit of equity and opportunity for young women and non-binary people who live in rural and regional Australia and spend a great portion of my time travelling to amazing rural locations and hearing the stories of rural Australians.

Working with young people to develop their leadership is vital for the stewardship of rural Australia. Their voices and actions matter and so I look forward to increasing their opportunities to be heard, to be connected to broader networks of leadership and to support them to nurture their continued growth, along with the other members of the Country to Canberra team.
