Why did you enter Country to Canberra's Leadership Competition?
I have always been encouraged to make the most of every opportunity that comes my way. So when this excellent cause presented itself, that allowed me to express myself alongside discussing a matter as important as gender equality, I had to jump at the chance.
What do you hope to get out of C2C on Screen?
I just hope to meet some amazing, like minded people, and broaden my knowledge of the fight for gender equality.
Who is your role model and why?
There are so many people that I look up to for a variety of different reasons it would be difficult to name just one. However, if I had too it would be Grace Tame for the significant work she is doing to fight for change for survivors of sexual assault.
What’s your favourite thing about living in rural Australia?
Would have to be the variety of different people you meet and experiences you have that if you lived in a city those would not happen. The Character and generosity of people that live in the country is simply unmatched.
What’s your main goal or ambition (right now, or in the future)?
At the moment I hope to tackle year twelve head on and strive through the process of VCE. Following that I’m still undecided of what will follow. I am just trying to keep as many doors open as possible. I’ve always been told do what you love and it isn’t working. So I hope to continue searching until I find my passion.
Tell us a couple of things you do to relax or have fun?
I love being outdoors, cooking and being with my friends. So you will usually find me doing one of these three things in my free time.
