Why did you enter Country to Canberra's Leadership Competition?
I had seen a few people I know do it and am super passionate about women and leadership so I thought this would be an amazing opportunity to expand my knowledge, abilities, and influence.
What do you hope to get out of C2C on Screen?
I hope to further understand the role of women in our society, and how I can help influence other young women.
Who is your role model and why?
Honestly super hard to chose one, but Gretal Bueta comes to mind. She’s an amazing netballer and had a baby last year. She’s come back into elite sport and it’s awesome to see the balance she has. To see women being mothers and playing sport at that level is so inspiring and is something she wants people to understand is possible and I really admire that.
What’s your favourite thing about living in rural Australia?
I love space and a tight knit community. I’m not a massive fan of constant crowds and living in an area where I can have my own space, and have the opportunity to go to the beach or mountains if I chose to.
What’s your main goal or ambition (right now, or in the future)?
To play netball at the highest level possible and balance that with the rest of my life.
Tell us a couple of things you do to relax or have fun?
I love words, reading, writing, all that jazz. Being in nature makes me feel calm, and sport, specifically netball, is what I spend the majority of my time on, so we could say I find it fun.
