Why did you enter Country to Canberra's Leadership Competition?
I entered Country to Canberra to help further my public speaking and to learn how to be a good leader and an inspiring young woman in Australia. I want to learn how to learn how to make a difference.
What do you hope to get out of C2C on Screen?
From C2C On Screen I hope to learn and connect with current and emerging passionate leaders. I know a few amazing females who were lucky enough to have the opportunity to take part in C2C On Screen and they are some of the most powerful and inspiring leaders I know.
Who is your role model and why?
There are a lot of powerful women in my life, but my English teachers are some of the most inspiring and strong women I know.
What’s your favourite thing about living in rural Australia?
I love how culturally rich Nhulunbuy is. I feel so privileged to be able to experience and learn about Yonglu land and people.
What’s your main goal or ambition (right now, or in the future)?
My future goal is to join the Army as a mechanic. I hope to serve my country with pride as well as being an inspiration to other young girls wanting to join male dominated jobs.
Tell us a couple of things you do to relax or have fun?
I love to read a decent romance book and I love to dance. Dance makes me feel so free and reading helps to escape to my own world.
