Hollie Hughes

Hollie is a Bachelor of Communication (Journalism) Graduate and Law Student from Newcastle, NSW. She is a passionate community volunteer, feminist and survivor-advocate who strives to use her privilege to be a voice for those less fortunate. Hollie grew up in regional NSW and moved to Newcastle to pursue tertiary education in 2018.

In 2022, Hollie was President of the University of Newcastle Law Students’ Association and used her role to champion the voices of Indigenous and LGBTQIA+ communities.

Hollie works as Digital Communications and Community Coordinator at NSW Rural Doctors Network and spends her free time volunteering for What Were You Wearing? Australia, The Survivor Hub and Raise our Voice Australia.
