We are currently recruiting at both the Board Director and Officer levels.

Board Director Vacancies

Country to Canberra seeks to recruit two voluntary board directors – Chair of Board and a board director with strong accounting and financial skills for not for profits. In addition, it is desirable that candidates can offer a range of the following skills and attributes:

  • Accounting and Bookkeeping;
  • Governance
  • AICD accreditation;
  • Event Management;
  • Negotiation and Mediation;
  • Legal skills;
  • Public speaking;
  • Writing and Editing;
  • Social Media; and
  • Marketing and Communication.

If you are interested in either of these roles, please outline your interest via email by 30th July in a maximum of 500 words. We are keen to hear why you are interested in this opportunity and how your values and experience are aligned with Country to Canberra.

Officer level:

Are you a uni or TAFE student looking to volunteer while growing your professional skills?

We have a number of current volunteer opportunities:

  • Volunteer Officer – Core team role supporting personnel management
  • Social Media Officers (x2) – Create content that drives change 
  • Sponsorships and Grants Officers (x2) – Secure resources that enable life-changing programs 
  • Alumni Network Coordinator – Build and nurture a community of empowered program alumni and former volunteers
