Kate grew up in Wodonga, regional Victoria. After completing her high school studies, she moved to Canberra to pursue a double degree in Political Science and Arts (History) at the Australian National University. Now a recent graduate Kate works in development policy for the Australian Public Service. 

Kate is passionate about the voices’ of young people from remote, regional and rural areas being heard in the national conversations that impact them. She has joined Country to Canberra to follow this passion.
