Lara Stimpson - Leadership competition DIRECTOR
Lara is a reporter with the ABC, who moved from stunning Yolngu country in East Arnhem Land in the Northern Territory to Ngunnawal/Ngambri land in Canberra for study.
She’s incredibly passionate about storytelling and equality in the media, and elevating narratives not frequented in the mainstream.
Lara first started with Country to Canberra as a leadership competition winner in 2017, before working on the Mentorship Program – and now as the Leadership Officer!
Country to Canberra changed her life, and she is so incredibly proud to be part of an organisation that continues to do life-changing work.
