Describe yourself in 80 words or less.
I am a passionate, committed person who never settles for second best. I would also describe myself as hardworking and strong-minded person which has resulted in me having high standards for myself in life. I am confident and thrill-seeking, so I am always looking for new things to experience.
How old are you, what grade are you in and what community/town do you live in?
I am 17 years old and attend Cummins Area School where I am completing Year 12. I live on my
family farm about 20km North of Cummins.
Why did you enter Country to Canberra’s Leadership Competition?
I entered Country to Canberra because I thought it would be an amazing experience to be a part of. I was eager meet people that could inspire and influence me to assist with my own leadership views and morals. I believed that the skills I gained would benefit me throughout my further studies and in the work force.
What do you hope to get out of the Power Trip to Canberra?
I hope to meet people that can inspire and motivate me to thrive. I also want to see what else is outside of my town and the opportunities available for me. I want to learn more skills that can assist me in life and broaden my knowledge overall.
Who is your role model and why?
I have many role models that inspire me in my life, but my mum and dad stand out the most. Dad has taught me so many things in life and always encouraged me to follow my own path as I grow up. Mum has been a big influence on me and raised me to stand up for what I am passionate for. These have shaped me into the person I have become.
What’s your favourite thing about living in rural Australia?
My favourite thing about living in rural Australia is the drive to my favourite beaches. I admire the way I can arrive at a beach and just about have it all to myself. The sense of serenity as I can walk along the beach alone is something I will miss moving to the city for tertiary studies next year.
What are you passionate about?
I am extremely passionate about being a leader. I have always admired leaders around me and aspired to one day become a leader myself.

What’s your main goal/ambition right now?
Currently, my main goal is to focus on my ATAR for university. I want to focus on my studies and gain as much knowledge and experience as I can to help with my transition from Year 12 to University.
Tell us a couple of things you do to relax/have fun?
To relax, I like to hang out and listen to music. When I have time and the conditions are good, I really enjoy escaping to the beach to surf or just be in the ocean.
